Dahlias

If I had to pick a favorite flower, it would have to be the dahlia. With 8 sets of chromosomes and a genome of 32 billion base pairs, the variation of color, size, and structure are seemingly infinite. I currently grow approximately 80 different varieties each having their own unique name and characteristics.
